This Privacy Policy describes how Garrett Braukman ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with BH Rates (the "Application"). By using the Application, you agree to this Policy.
We collect only what is needed to operate a private, access-controlled application:
(a) Sign-in information. The email address you enter when signing in, used to identify who is accessing the Application.
(b) Authentication cookie. A signed session cookie that keeps you logged in. It contains your email address and an expiration time, and nothing else.
(c) Server logs. Standard technical logs generated by our hosting provider, which may include IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps.
We do not collect names, payment information, health information, patient data, or any other personal information. The Application contains no protected health information.
We use the information described above solely to: (a) authenticate access and keep the Application secure; (b) understand who has accessed the Application and when; (c) maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Application; and (d) communicate with you about your access.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not use your information for advertising. We do not share your information with third parties, except: (a) with service providers who host and operate the Application's infrastructure (currently Render and Cloudflare), solely as needed to run the service; and (b) where disclosure is required by law, legal process, or to protect our legal rights.
The Application uses a single, strictly necessary authentication cookie so you stay signed in. It is not used for tracking or advertising, and no third-party tracking or analytics cookies are set by the Application.
Sign-in information and server logs are retained only as long as needed for the purposes described above, for security review, or as required by law, and are then deleted or become unrecoverable in the ordinary operation of our infrastructure.
Access to the Application is restricted by authentication, and connections are encrypted in transit (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information we hold about you by contacting us at the address below. California residents may have additional rights under California law regarding their personal information; we honor such requests to the extent required. We do not respond differently to "Do Not Track" signals because we do not track users across other sites.
The Application is not directed to children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are effective when posted within the Application. Your continued use of the Application after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
